Overview

Combining the power of a PC and the ability to interface with GLORY peripherals, CPS-Retail is designed to handle cash, coin, check, miscellaneous media, coupons, and credit card receipts to balance a cash register. CPS Retail can import data from POS system to balance the register comparing the verified amounts to declared amounts. Checks are encoded, endorsed and verified. Coupons are recorded and verified. Custom exports can be configured and exported as required. CPS-Retail can handle pickups, register balances, cash advances, change funds and bank deposit functions of retail cash room.

Features

1. Process Registers

Verify the all media from the register. Encode and endorse the checks. Validate the coupons. Balance the register accounting pickups, change funds and cash advances. Supervisory overrides for out of balance transactions. Memos are stored in the system as required.

2. Pickup processing

Verify the all media from the register for a pickup transaction. Encode and endorse the checks. Validate the coupons.

3. Change Fund

Provides a method to define change fund configurations and assign them to registers. Supervisors can disburse the change fund. This information is captured in the database.

4. Cash Advance

Tellers can request cash advances from the system. This information is stored in the system and used for balancing the register.

5. Report

There are numerous reports to print the activity at each register by transaction types and by sales date. Reports also available on over/shorts by processing teller or by cash register. More than 30 reports are in the system to complete the retail cash vault process.

6. Exports

User can configure exports from all transaction data into comma-separated fields or fixed length fields. There can be separate exports for cash media and check media.
